LOVE-ISM from Paul Sixta on Vimeo.

Choreographer Mor Shani is working on “Love-ism”. Love-ism is a long term study inspired by the book “Art of Loving” by Erich Fromm. In this study Shani wishes to challenge the perception and liquidity of the agreed upon, the sublime and the condemned. He asks: “when do supreme ideas about love like care, mutuality and dependency stop being sacred and become sinful? And what is it that distinguishes one kind of love from another?”
Video artist, Paul Sixta expands the conceptual grounds of Love-ism in close collaboration with Shani. He challenges the discussion by making the process of creation transparent, and is creating a film about the “Politics of Intimacy”, researching the human experience of meeting significant others in and out of the studio. The stage product and the film will be presented as one piece.

Wreck-It Ralph (2012) Pencil Test: Dialogue from ‘Cyrus’ by Nik Ranieri from Living Lines Library on Vimeo.

Here is a hand-drawn test for “Wreck-it Ralph”. Nik Ranieri was asked to animate the character of Ralph, as a guide for the animation of the character in the film.

"As a parting reminder of my last years at Disney, here is my last hand-drawn test for a Disney production. (…) It took me 2 months to animate this scene because,
1. I had to adjust the look of the character as it changed, which meant redoing some of it and
2. I basically did all the drawings myself. Most animators don’t do every drawing in a scene, but I wanted it fully animated and since I didn’t have any inbetweeners, I had to draw everything.
Enjoy.”

Eating Out 2: Sloppy Seconds - Trailer from Ariztical Entertainment on Vimeo.

How far would you go to get the person of your dreams? In the first Eating Out, Kyle (Jim Verraros) convinced his straight roommate to pretend to be gay in order to get the girl. Now, with the help of Gwen (Emily Brooke Hands) and Tiffani (Rebekah Kochan), Kyle pretends to be heterosexual in order to land Troy (Marco Dapper), the new guy (and nude model) who’s turning the heads of both men and women. He soon finds himself joining the campus ex-gay support group and nabbing a girlfriend (Tiffany)! Kyle’s ex-boyfriend Marc (Brett Chukerman) is horrified at the plan and decides to pursue the confused Troy with his own tactic — being his “out” gay self. Who will win Troy first? In the boy eat boy, boy eat girl, bisexual mystique of Eating Out 2, the stakes are raised, sexual boundaries are obliterated, and the answer is never what you might expect!
